Having reached Year Twelve is an achievement and the focus is firmly placed on “Road Ahead”, the theme for the Graduating class.

By Year Twelve girls have heightened feelings as they share much together for the last time as students, in some cases before returning home to Botswana, Thailand, Esperance or the Kimberleys. Assessment deadlines and examinations are intense times as each girl strives to get the best grades possible. They shed their school uniform and become glamorous at the Annual Ball. They learn how to live in small groups in chalets of their own during the Christian Living Camp. They actively participate in Sports Carnivals and lead younger students to do the same. Tears are shed and much laughter is heard at the Mother Daughter Dinner, as both mother and daughter recognise that their relationship is moving to another plateau. Fun is had on the River Cruise and some students benefit from trips to Melbourne and Russia after winning competitions.

Year Twelve students exercise the responsibilities of College Leadership. As the exiting Head Girl reminded the incoming College Leaders during her Presentation Night speech, it is “an incredible honour and an opportunity to give back to the College what it has given to you over the years”.
She added, “Within our graduating class are future politicians, doctors, nurses, scientists, musicians, teachers, hairdressers and mothers…let us take the key that the College has given us….to make our dreams come true.”
…Evidence that our girls have become women, ready for the next phase of life.
