Year Three students learn that they are all individuals and that through this individuality they all have different learning abilities. These Learning abilities are taken into consideration so that the class operates smoothly, enthusiastically and co operatively in a friendly environment.
Many exciting group activities take place with students learning more about themselves, others, co-operative learning and the world in which we live.
- The RAISe program offers an exciting literacy initiative which assists students in gaining a better understanding of reading and writing.
- An excursion to the Perth zoo may occur where students are able to see animals in real life and develop an understanding of how animals become endangered and ultimately extinct.
- Students learn fancy dance steps and show off to their parents and friends at the dance social.
- The Fun Run, Cross-Country, swimming and daily fitness are enjoyed by children, keep them healthy and teach them about team work.
The Religious Education program focuses on preparation to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Students do this by participating in workshops and reflection days.
The learning experience is enriched by a range of specialist programs including Music, Italian, Physical Education, Dancing and Swimming. |
