Learning at SBC - Teaching & Learning - Early Childhood - Kindergarten

Puzzles, blocks, painting, play dough, writing, listening to stories and games keep the Kindy child happy, busy and learning. Through play much is learnt about life.

Children learn about sharing and taking turns and that sharing is caring. New friends are made and lots of new things are learnt.

A “Farmyard on Wheels” may visit allowing children to feed the animals and play with baby goats.

Holy Week is celebrated and children learn about new life and how much Jesus loves us. There may be even Easter bonnets, baskets and decorated Easter eggs.

Mums might be invited to morning tea and grannies and pops to ‘boogie’, and the children show them what they do and tell them how much they love them.

A pirate adventure may occur when children dress up as pirates and explore for treasure.

Teddy bears are precious and together children and bears may set-off for Lesmurdie House for a picnic a play and some rest.
