St Brigid’s College recognises the contribution that students from other countries and cultures make to its community. It is with this in mind, that programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of overseas students while ensuring their gentle integration into the life of the College.
Overseas students participate fully in all areas of College life, combining academic rigour with spiritual, cultural and physical growth. Such involvement encourages personal excellence in a broad spectrum of subjects as well as nurturing a life-giving respect for different cultural backgrounds in all students of the College.
The English as a Second Language course offers support for the non-native English speaker who already has a basic knowledge of conversational English. In this course students are given the opportunity to become more proficient and comfortable in the skill areas of speaking, listening, grammar, reading and writing the English language.
