A warm welcome to St Brigid's

Each child is precious to us. It is a privilege to accept the trust that families place in us. We accept this responsibility as we strive to make all students feel safe, comfortable and happy, as they get the most out of interesting and challenging learning opportunities that prepare them for their role as contributing citizens and leaders of the world.

The Sisters of Mercy established the College in 1929. It is situated on a large, beautiful site in the Lesmurdie hills, only 25 minutes from Perth, the capital city of Western Australia. We are a God-centred community whose Catholicity is expressed through the Mercy tradition. While we enjoy the legacy of a rich Mercy heritage, we are a forward looking community that takes advantage of current learning technologies to provide opportunities for all students. Individual learning pathways and state of the art facilities, including cutting edge technology and a heated, indoor swimming pool, are available to meet the unique needs and interests of our students.

Day school is available for girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 7, and exclusively for girls in Years 8-12. Boarding, for girls only in Years 8-12, is a unique opportunity to learn about caring for one another. All our students are enriched through sharing their schooling experience with girls from across Western Australia and from overseas.

Working in partnership with families, dedicated staff members do everything they can to make each family’s stay happy and rewarding as we recognise that the strength of the partnership between the students, parents and staff at St Brigid’s determines the degree of our success.
